I’ve taken this out on a few lake swims now, and the bright orange really makes me feel visible to boats. The dry bag keeps my keys and phone bone-dry even after an hour of hard swimming, which is exactly what I needed for open water.

The zipper on the dry bag compartment is surprisingly watertight—I tossed my keys and phone in before a long lake swim and everything stayed bone dry. It also gave me just enough extra float to feel secure without restricting my stroke.

I was a bit skeptical about how much buoyancy it would add, but the inflatable mechanism deploys instantly when I pull the cord, giving me real confidence in open water. The dry bag compartment held my sunglasses and keys perfectly without any leaks.
